Fall
(September-November)
Apples
- fiber (good for digestion), cooling properties brings down fever, reduce thirst, and cleanse liver.
Cauliflower -
good brain food, has antibiotic and antiviral properties
Mushroom-
rich, low calorie source of fiber, protein, and antioxidants
Acorn Squash-
improves energy and blood circulation,
Sweet Potatoes
- most nutrient dense vegetable, stabilizing blood sugar, improve response to the hormone insulin.

Winter
(December - February)
Spinach
- chronic cough remedy: eat spinach soup seasoned with ginger 2x a day on empty stomach
Chard-
helps cool if overheated, eases constipation, and detoxifies- eat in moderation can cause kidney stones
Pecans -
help against colds, support nervous system and heart health
Carrots-
help prevent constipation, relieve PMS, improve skin health
